Iraq sees Lukoil oil output at West Qurna 2 rising to 800,000 bpd

MOSCOW, Oct 11 (PRIME) -- The output of Russian oil company Lukoil at the West Qurna 2 oilfield in Iraq will reach 800,000 barrels per day (bpd) in the next few years, Iraq’s Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani told reporters on Wednesday.

“Now the output amounts to around 500,000 barrels per day… we are to increase it to 800,000 barrels per day in the next few years,” he said, adding that corresponding adjustments were added to the contract.
